Federal aviation regulations allow glider pilots to solo at age 14 and earn a pilot glider license at 16. Gliding is STEM rich activity.

Invidual class presentations can include: weather, mathematics of aviation, aviation art, aviation history, aerodyamics, weather, and other science subjects.
